Al-Quran is the central religious text of Islam, which Muslims believe to be a revelation from God (Allah). It is widely regarded as the finest work in classical Arabic literature, and Muslims consider it to be the finest work in the Arabic language. The Quran is divided into chapters called surahs, which are then divided into verses. Every verse in the Quran has a unique number, and the first and last verses in each surah are called the Al-Furqan verses.
This application for the Android platform contains the complete audio recitation of the Quran by the voice of Yassin Al-Jazaery, with the option of having the text displayed simultaneously with the audio. The text of the verses is displayed in the default font of the device.
This application allows the user to listen to the surahs of the Quran at the same time that they are reading. It is possible to listen to one surah and read the next. This application also allows the user to specify the name of the surah that they want to listen to.
